Dear Volunteers, Friends, and Shelter Partners, As a reminder, please join us for the LMM’s Annual Team Up to Clean Up on Saturday, September 19 at 2100 Lakeside Avenue, Cleveland. Shelter residents, volunteers, staff come together for a day of community! Neighborhood cleanup, painting walls, building planters & planting flowers, art projects including painting a mural, live music throughout and cookout. Registration begins 8:30 Projects 9:00-11:30

NAMIWalks is a 2.5-mile walk and community event that supports mental health awareness and benefits the vital work of NAMI Greater Cleveland and NAMI Geauga County. The event features a community resource fair, music, line dancing, raffles, children’s activities, and more—bringing people together in support of mental wellness for all.

Funds raised through NAMIWalks directly support free mental health programs, education, support groups, and advocacy efforts in Greater Cleveland and Geauga County. The walk also fosters a more inclusive and understanding community while offering hope and encouragement to those affected by mental health conditions.

This year’s event takes place on September 19 at Edgewater Park in Cleveland, with festivities starting at 9 AM. Hope to see you there!

The Blackout 2026: 75th Anniversary Edition feat. Culture For Service Awards

The Men of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. Gamma Alpha Sigma Chapter invite you and yours to be a part of the jubilee as we celebrate 3/4 of a century of Brotherhood, Sholarship and Service in Northeast, Ohio! during our special 75th Anniversary Blackout this year!

The event will take place Saturday November 21, 2026, at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Cleveland Rockside located 5800 Rockside Wood Blvd N, Independence, Ohio from 6:00pm-11:00pm (doors open at 5:00pm)

The Blackout 2026: 75th Anniversary Edition will be a celebration of community engagement, sponsorship, collaboration, youth involvement and service as we also feature our annual Culture For Service Awards, where this year we will honor Mental Health Professionals in our community.

The evening will include dinner, music entertainment and much more!
